Having been a successful Former Racing Driver, It only comes Naturally to Dr Manoj Shah to Give His Time, Talent and Resources to The Automobile Association of Kenya. He has Served Diligently as Director and Member of The Governing Council for Over 20 Years. For The Past 12 Years He has been giving his Leadership as The Chairperson of The A.A Road Safety Council of Kenya.

Many Notable achievements during his Tenure, Include The Safe Walk to School Program for School Children, Training of First Aid to Responders for Road Accidents, Many Legislations, Including Drink and Drive, Seat Belts enforcement, Safety Equipment in Vehicles, Re-Training of Long Distance Truck and Bus Drivers to name a Few.

AA Kenya has evolved over the past 100 years from inspecting vehicles to being in the fore front of providing essential road rescue services,vehicle valuations, international driving permits and being the only acredited driving school. Founded in 1919, the role that AA played in the formative years was critical to ensuring the interests of motorists in the country were safeguarded. Some of the critical roles AA played included: providing information on the purchase and maintenance of motor vehicles, negotiating attractive insurance premiums for its members, setting up of the first petrol depots in the country, and mapping of the roads.
